OCTOBER 5 - 7, Camel's Hump, Vermont

We will be meeting at 3 PM at the church on Friday, March 23, and
plan on returning for 10 AM on Sunday.
FEBRUARY 9 - 11, 2007 - Cardigan Lodge, White Mtns. - Meet at the Church at 3 PM on Friday.

OCTOBER 7 - 9 - Meet at the church parking lot at 5:45AM so that we can hopefully be underway at 6 AM. We will stop at the Honey Dew on Route 151 briefly. Any questions, please email me. We will return on Monday on the noon ferry, arriving in Bolton @ 6PM. Thanks, Wes Durant
NOVEMBER 3 - 5 - Treasure Valley, Paxton. Webelo IIs will be coming for one night. SEPTEMBER 15 - 17 - Camel's Hump hike, Waterbury, VT. Ben & Jerry's Sunday afternoon, return home @ 8PM. AUGUST 25 - 28 - Mt. Katahdin hike, Baxter State Park in Maine. Drive up early, hike in, set up camp. Spend the next two days hiking around. There are easy hikes for the smaller boys and harder hikes for the bigger boys. AUGUST 6 - AUGUST 12 - Troop 1 Bolton goes to Summer Camp. Earn merit badges, have a whole lot of fun. Online sign-up form is here JULY 14 - 17 - Mt. Chocorua and Whiteface hike, New Hampshire. This hike is a practice hike for Mt. Katahdin in August. This trip is appropriate for all boys. Online sign-up form is here JUNE 2 -4 - Kettle Pont, VT, Cabot Cheese Factory, Leave on Friday afternoon, return home @ 8PM. Online sign-up form here. MAY 6 - 7 - Saturday 7AM to Sunday @1 PM. Massasoit Spring Camporee - Meet at the First Parish Church at 3:30 PM to pack up. Return will be between 12 noon and 1 PM on Sunday. This is a Council run event and is located at Pearl Hill State Park in West Townsend. MARCH 31 - APRIL 2 - Camp Squanto, Plymouth MA; leave Saturday and return Sunday at @ noon. MARCH 24 - 26 - Intrepid, cancelled due to lack of interest. Maybe we can do it another time.

NOVEMBER 11-13 - Friday through Sunday, Treasure Valley/High Mesa, camping.Our next troop campout will be at Treasure Valley Scout Reservation, in Rutland MA (north of Worcester Airport). We will meet at the First Parish Church Friday Nov 11 at 1:00 and return Sunday at about 12:00. We will be host to the Webelos Cub Scouts from Bolton and Berlin; and it is important to show them the best of Boy Scout camping. OCTOBER 8-10 - Sat through Monday, Kettle Pond State Park, Marshfield, VT; hiking in the Green Mountains and camping. Meet at the First Parish Church at 6:30 AM. CANCELLED due torrential rains expected from Tropical Storm Tammy.
SEPTEMBER 16-18 - CANCELLED, due to Hurricane Opehlia , Nickerson State Park has been closed.
AUGUST 31 - SEPT 4 - Nantucket, Camp Richards. Older boy trip.
JULY 31 - AUGUST 6 - Troop Camping at Camp Wanocksett, Jaffrey, NH.
JULY 12 - 26 - Troop 1 Bolton goes to Philmont
JUNE 18- 19 - Mt. Greylock, we will be camping at the State park, Stony Ledge Group Site, hiking and doing stuff.
Meet at the church at 7Am Saturday.
The gear will be distributed as needed. There will likely be 2
different caravans. One group, the Philmont group; the other group
will consist of the rest of the Troop. We will divide the boys and
adults up according to groups, then drive out. The Troop will drive
up to the camp site and begin setting up. The Philmont crew will
hike in from the bottom of the Mt. and meet the Troop at the camp
site. The Philmont crew will be responsible for all their own gear
and food. After camp is set up we will hike to the summit of
Greylock.
MAY 27 - 30 - Philmont Shakedown at Greylock. We will be staying at the Greylock State Park, Chimney Group Site. (ONLY Philmont crew attends this trip.) Meet at the Church at 6 AM, leave at 6:30 AM, stop for donuts at @ 7:45. Bring MONEY with you, $10.00 is a good amount. Please read your email for details of this trip. DO NOT COME UNPREPARED. MAY 21 - 22 - Wanocksett/Monadnock Trip. This will be a combined Philmont training hike and Troop camping trip. We may have a separate hike for non-Philmont participants. Only boys/adults who can keep up, may hike with the Philmont trainees. MAY 15 - OA Fellowship Weekend, new OA candidates go to do their Ordeal. ONLY OA members may attend.
ISAAC DAVIS CAMPOUT - UPDATED - April 16 -17, Saturday - Sunday, meet at the First Parish Church at 2PM, return Sunday at @ 1PM, 7 mile hike and campout. Philmont participants will carry full packs. Everyone else's gear will go via truck. See Mr. Sterling or Mr. Anderson for info.
MARCH 19 - 20 -Camp Collier. Iron Chef Cookoff!! Come ready to cook. Meet at the First Parish Church parking lot at 8 AM Saturday, return home @ noon on Sunday. Come prepared for winter camping. We will be camping in tents, NOT a cabin. Use the Winter Camping List on the Archive page for which appropriate gear to bring. Food planning meeting for this trip will be held Sunday, March 13, 7PM at Mr. Anderson's house. (15 kids attended)

SEPTEMBER 26 - 5 Mile Nature Hike - 2 PM, Sunday, Meet at Bower Spring. This is to fulfill requirements for Tenderfoot - First Class and will include identifying plants. Bill Fateiger will be your fearless leader.

JULY 17 - 18: Sat - Sun, Camping on Boston Harbor Islands, take the ferry over, camp, have fun. We will be camping on Lovell Island.
